Position Summary:

ANNUALIZED SALARY: Single Certification – $75,878
Dual Certification – $84,310
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Water/Wastewater Associate Degree and/or Classes Preferred.
• Must be a Grade IV Water and/or Grade IV Wastewater Operator.
• Must have knowledge of ADEM Regulations.
• Must have a good mathematical and chemistry background.
• Must meet the physical demands of the position such as heavy lifting, climbing, and entering
confined spaces as defined in the job description.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have good laboratory skills and be safety conscious.
• Must be willing to work around hazardous chemicals and gases.
• Must be willing to work shift work.
• Must have good mechanical skills with pumps, motors, and lab instruments.
• Must abide by the Sheffield Utilities Residency Policy.
